I absolutely loved this book. I was eager to get my hands on it from the first time I heard about it, so I was really happy that I won this one. Little Women is one of those books that's been basically ingrained in American culture since it was published, so Morrow really took on a big task in writing this retelling; but I think she did an amazing job. I really enjoyed A Song Below Water, so I knew the writing would be wonderful, and it is! It's definitely still recognizably Little Women, but the changes make the story fresh and new and add a much-needed perspective to that time period in America's history. I can't wait to read more in this series of reimagined classic novels! I also really love the cover! I would definitely recommend this book to any reader who enjoys the original Little Women, historical fiction, or retellings of classic novels.
