I feel like Little Women is having a renaissance moment right now. There was a webseries, the PBS mini series and the Greta Gerwig adaptation last year. I like that this story is not just an adaptation of the story we all know so well, but more of an alternate version. I think it's fun that the story is told from Amy's perspective in this blurb because she is my favorite March sister. This Amy sounds like the original Amy with more depth / layers to her character. I am interested in the change of setting and how that could change the story because I always felt like the March's home and neighborhood was its own character in the original, and I hope that this is the case in this new adaptation.
I will admit that I am not the biggest fan of the cover, but that is because I do not generally like people on my book covers. I will always reach for an illustrated cover rather than a "live action" version, but that is just me.
