Louisa May Alcott's Little Women has been my favorite book for most of my life. It's my comfort read, it's a book that I see so much of myself in. Because of my deep love for the original story, when I heard about So Many Beginnings: A Little Women Remix, I was overjoyed.

Once I began reading I was fully immersed in the story and had a very difficult time putting it down. While there were some differences from the original characterization that took me a bit of time to get used to, I ultimately understood the choices that were made beccause the lives of the March sisters in the original were very different from the life that these March sisters experienced. And even though there were a few other differences and changes that I didn't love, I understand why they were made and it didn't take away from the overall story that was being told.

My favorite parts of the book were the discussions about race, racism and allyship. I think that there were so many important things being discussed, and I found myself getting very emotional throughout because of how deeply I cared for these characters and all that went through similar situations.

I think that all fans of the original Little Women should read this!
