So Many Beginnings: A Little Women Remix by Bethany C. Morrow was on my radar because it is a retelling of a favorite novel and I am also a fan of the author. I read the massive classic that is Little Women and have watched the film and tv versions of it so I went into this one with high expectations.
I liked how the author mixed the world of Little Women with the history of the time period and it was able to make the retelling unquie. Some retellings are just bland or too much like the original story but I felt like this one stood out and was original whole keeping the aspects of the origin story.
I have heard that the audiobook is well made and may have to revisit this novel via the audio version.
I recommend checking out this well-done retelling mixed with historical fiction. It was a great read and it made me want to read more of Bethany C. Morrow's fiction.
