I love books that retell classic tales. It's always nice to see what fresh new twists an author can put on a classic story. This one in particular is poignant, for it's a retelling of a classic American story "Little Women" from the point of view of Americans who have not had the chance to have their own story told in detail: black Americans/American POC.
