I’ve been excited for this new take on Little Women, as I love reimagined classics, especially if it adds a new dimension to the story like this one seems to be doing, due to the premise of what it means to be Black at a time when the country is fighting over the issue of slavery. I can’t wait to see what Bethany C. Morrow does with this concept, exploring the lives of a different set of March sisters with both similar and different challenges in the Civl War.
