From the very first sentence my interest was sparked. Such a seemingly odd but inviting way to begin the story. The slight quirk remains throughout the pages I can see and it gives the narrative a very charming effect. The characters are all well developed in and of themselves and also within the family dynamic. The first look is all it took for me to fall in love with the characters and become emotionally involved which is quite a feat! I have a feeling this book will be a modern literary wonder
