When I saw the cover and synopsis for this one, I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it. I'm not a fan of classics, so I've never read Little Women. Considering this is a retelling if it, I was definitely wary. I ended up loving this excerpt though! I am worried I'd have trouble telling all 4 sisters apart in the full book, but the two we read from so far had very distinctive voices. Although this promises to be more character-driven than what I typically read, I think I'd really enjoy it.
