This was my first kidnap,ransom, and International espionage type of book I've ever read and wow was I pleased! I can't believe that I missed the first book in the series and I will definitely be going and picking it up. This book took off from the beginning with the detail and intense scenes of the plane crash. I really like the main character, Thea Paris, and I appreciated that the author wove in to the storyline that she has type 1 diabetes. This book was so fast-paced for me but I just kept turning the page and turning the page. A few days ago I told myself I need to get this read by the 10th but I had no problem getting it read in one or two days because it was so good. I felt like this could easily be a movie!
