“Skyjack” was a completely fast and absorbing read for me in a genre that I would not typically go to. So refreshing to see a woman in the hero role. James Bond in a metaphorical dress was a pleasing surprise. In the past, it seemed the woman in a thriller like this was usually relegated to the roll of damsel in distress or the evil seductress. Hooray to author K.J. Howe for writing the admirable Thea Paris. I love the way the chapters ping ponged between the various characters telling a very timely story of international terrorism in our world today. The way the story unwinds in this way makes the tale of what is going on reveal it’s self slowly without ever becoming bogged down. I really liked this novel.
