I received a free e-copy of this book and have chosen to write an honest and unbiased review. I have no personal affiliation with the author. Thea is a hostage negotiator and a member of Quantum. She just wants to deliver two orphaned boy soldiers from their orphanage in Africa to their new parents in London when the plane is hijacked over Libya and the passengers including the two boys are taken hostage. She has history with the hijacker. Wow! The action and suspense never quits. Full of betrayal, intrigue, and twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. There are also a few surprises and some very brave young characters. Couldn’t put it down. There are some really bad dudes involved as well as canisters containing nuclear material and canisters containing a virus. We see what makes Thea tick as she shows us her human side as she deals with kidnapping and brutal attacks on innocent people. This is an extremely well written suspense thriller with an amazing plot and great character development. ‘Skyjack’ is well worth the read and I look forward to reading more from K. J. Howe in the future.
