While this genre isn’t my cup of tea, I found this sample easy to read and mildly intriguing. While the sample was very short and didn’t provide any more insight than the synopsis provided, I liked the characters and immediately hoped the two young orphans managed to land well after all they experienced following the murder of their parents. Thea’s character was interesting and I’d like to know more about her brother and how his death shaped her life. Overall, I’d recommend this book to action/suspense readers. It’s just not got me.
