What would you do? Would you give up your happy life to correct a horrible wrong? Could you live with yourself if you didn't do it?

Maria, a psychologist, is 9 months pregnant, married with two little girls and her life has just been turned upside down. Sylvia is a new patient who insists she was sent back from the future. She insists that Maria is in danger from her faithful receptionist and friend Rachel. Delusional is Maria's diagnosis. But when Sylvia commits suicide and leaves a note with information so personal that not even Maria's husband knows, she questions who Sylvia was.

Then it happens to her. She wakes up in her childhood bed, only 17 years old. At a loss and unable to convince anyone else of what has happened to her, she becomes desperate to find a way to get back to her family in the future. As Maria learns she is not the only person that has returned from the future, her purpose for being there becomes clear. She must save her husband's sister Beth who is going to die in a few days. But if she saves her, Maria will never be able to return to the present.

The interwoven lives of all the characters in the story were impressive. The story manages to bring all the loose ends together at the end. I could completely understand Maria's struggle in what to do. It felt very real to me while reading her struggles.

Thank you Bookishfirst and Forge for the Arc. This is my honest opinion. I recommend She Wouldn't Change a Thing.
