I really enjoyed this story that transported me back to the 80s of my childhood. I really enjoyed reading about the time before the internet and how we now take for granted all this information we have at our disposal. I don't usually read fantasy so I had never come across a book that dealt with time travel in a literary story. This novel surprisingly immersed me into this world and made me belive that what was happening to psychiatrist Maria Frossmann was really possible. This story asks the question of, if you could go back would you change the past? Made me ponder what I would do if I were in these characters shoes. There are two separate stories happening simultaneously so it's a bit confusing at first. But the author cleverly pulls everything together at the end for a surprising finish. I'll be sure to look for other stories by this author.
