When psychiatrist, Maria Forssmann, received a cryptic warning from a woman who has traveled from the future, she blew it off as the delusional rants of a mentally ill patient. When she next found herself thrown back in time to when she was a teenager, she faced the same doubts from the other side of the coin.

I found the novel gripping and unique. There are plenty of time travel novels out there lately but this one offered a pretty unique take on the trope. When a certain chosen person dies, they are sent back in time by God with a special task to perform. When they complete their task, they must live out their life in a new way. They can never go back to the life they once had.

I loved this book from the start and had a hard time putting it down. I would love to give it five stars, but the ending kind of ruined it for me. I adored this novel up until the last five pages. I just did not love the ending at all. I will admit that it was unexpected, if a little creepy.
