I am truly surprised that this is the first novel by this author. It was a fabulous read and I’m already looking forward to whatevwr she publishes next. The story is well written and draws you in immediately. Who amongst us hasn’t thought “what if?” One turn in the road and everything is different. We imagine, but what if you actually woke up and you were back in time and had the ability to make different choices knowing what the future would be. What would you change, do differently? Maria is 39 years old, a mother of 2, pregnant with her 3rd, in love with her husband, who is a surgeon and just a little bit condescending, but loves her. She goes to bed as her current self and wakes up as a young girl again, but knows things from the future and gets visits from others from the future who know things as well and warn her. So many choices and so much drama. What will she do as none of her options are easy. The concept is wonderfully executed and the possibilities are truly interesting and at times astounding. I am so lucky to have read this book before the release.
