She Wouldn't Change a Thing, follows Maria, 39 year old mother of two with her third child on the way. She runs a successful psychiatry practice and her husband is a doctor. One day she wakes up back in the house that she grew up in, in her 17 year old body. Desperate to get back to her family and unborn son, Maria sets out to find a way back tfo the future. She soon finds out that she was sent back for one purpose, to save the life a an 8 year old girl. Maria must decide between saving the life of the girl or finding a way back to be with her family.

I read this book in one sitting, I could not put it down. As a mother myself, I was able to relate to Maria's character so much that by the end of the book I had tears running down my face. The time travel aspect of the book was laid out clearly and wasn't confusing at all, unlike some other time travel books that I have read and had a hard time wrapping my mind around. The whole Henry/Maria situation was bittersweet and I almost wished the author had spent a little more time on that. It all was concluded rather quickly in the last few chapters and I found myself wishing there had been a little better set up or more to that part of the story. Still a beautiful, thought provoking story that had me wondering what I would do if I were put in the same situation. 4.5/5 stars but rounded up to 5 because I was just really impressed with this debut. Highly recommend!
