I was very impressed with the first few chapters of this book. The thing that I liked the most was that it was engaging and introduced them interesting plot points that aren't mentioned in the synopsis of the book. For example, based on the first few chapters, the main conflict seems to be that Maria, a therapist, has a patient named Sylvia who claims to have come from the future and needs to alter things in the past in order to prevent destruction. Then, Sylvia commits suicide, which makes the things that she said to Maria even more mysterious and possible indications of what will happen in the future. This is interesting enough. However, based on the synopsis, it seems like Maria will be doing some time traveling of her own, and she will been going back in time to when she was 17. This makes it even more interesting, and I can't wait to get a copy of this book so that I can find out what happens! This sounds like a thriller with a ton of twists and turns, which is exactly the type of book that I like.
