Wow ... Where to start?
First the cover of this book is a little deceiving because I can see two different aged females but are they the same. Not sure how it relates to the book since First Impression introduces us to Maria who is due at any moment with her third child, a boy.
After reading the synopsis of the book, I really got hooked into wanting to read this book. So I opened the First Impression and was confused but intrigued. I didn't read anything about Maria waking up in her 17 year old self or about an accident her husband was going to be involved in.
From the First Impression, I was drawn in meeting Maria and relating to her being a working mom and a wife and the demands these have. Then to find out she is pregnant with a son and due at any moment, you feel for her but know there is something underlying going on because of the synopsis.
After reading the First Impression, I am wanting to know what Rachel is hiding or what she is up to? Who was Sylvia? She was a patient that seemed to foresee and forewarn Maria of something bad happening in the future. Is she referring to Maria's husband and the accident we read about in the synopsis, or is she referring to something bad happening to Maria and her unborn son? Who is responsible for the tragedy that will occur? How is time travelling involved other than what Sylvia claimed? Why did Sylvia commit suicide and why did she leave a letter for Marie? What is in the letter? What is the investigation into Sylvia's suicide going to reveal? What is in the storage locker and on the laptop? And did the detective really guess what Maria's son's name will be.
So many questions I want answers to and can't wait to get my hands on this book to find out!!!!!////
