I wouldn't change a Thing as through the first impression sets the hook and immediately starts reeling in the reader. Maria Forssmann is a practicing psychiatrist and currently waiting on the birth of her third child though she can't shake a foreboding feeling during this pregnancy. When she is called by the police due to the unexpected suicide of a new patient, her world is turned up-side-down.
The quick introduction into past and future lives based on choices we make pulls the reader in quickly. I'm hooked and what to know what choices Maria makes and how her secretary figures into all of this.

The cover shows a reflection of possibly the same person in a going two different directions wearing different colors. Does that relate to choices made? It draws the eye to want to explore more.
