Being born and raised in Mississippi, the setting caught my eye immediately...I'm a sucker for a psychological thriller, throw in a setting I'm intimately familiar with, and I'm hooked from the beginning. The idea of going back in time/replaying the past isn't exactly new, but I'm very interested to see what angle the author takes with it.
