I like the introduction of the first chapter. Relating a memory to an auditory sense is something many of us can relate to.
However, as much as I am liking the story, the writing is a bit jarring. The sentences seem to run on a bit too much. I still like the premise and hope that doesn't continue too much where the enjoyment is cut off.
