Wow! This will be a much anticipated psychological thriller for me. Maria is a psychiatrist with a very busy homelife much like the rest of America. I feel that many people can relate to that aspect of the novel.
The first twist of the novel is when Maria meets with a patient named Sylvia, who ultimately commits suicide. Maria meets with a detective to piece together what lead up to this event. However, more comes out when we learn about the connection between Sylvia and Rachel (a co-worker) of Maria's. There is definitely some past history and connections between those two that I am dying to read more about. I cannot wait for this one!!!
