I had to read and then read again the beginning of this story. At first, I wasn't sure what was happening, and then, it was an "Aha" moment of "this is a dream" to a beginning of another dream. The day seemed surreal; and yet, it seemed like just the beginning to a new truth. I wasn't sure that I was going to enjoy this read, it wasn't as if I liked this woman or her situation. She didn't seem to have it together - her home life or her professional life - She wasn't listening or even acknowledging the clues that something needed to be changed or at least recognized. Ok, I get it. This is the beginning of a mind-blowing, thriller. This is going to be a (definitely) good read. I can't wait to explore what is going to happen next. I am the one in the movie theater who shouts out a warning to the woman who is about to get stabbed; I am now screaming out to warn our protagonist to get her act together before it is too late!
