After reading the synopsis, I was surprised to learn that the time traveling woman we meet is not Maria, but a woman named Sylvia. Her link to Maria is one we have yet to uncover, but lays the groundwork for a mystery. The first look was a bit of a slow burn, but ended with such a cliffhanger that I am hooked! While it doesn’t feel like a wholly unique idea, the first look lays just enough mystery to draw the reader and keep the pages turning.
