The description of this book and the first impression give me very different ideas of what this book might be like to read and that intrigues me a lot. The first impression reads like a thriller, but who knows! Maria, to me, is very likeable and relatable from the outset. She is going through a lot as a person and a woman and then Sylvia gets thrown in her lap. What's a girl to do? Well, I would like to find out!
