When I first started this book, I was incredibly turned off by the first chapter. This peek into the family life of the main character was very upsetting and gave me anxiety just reading it. I also struggle to see how it fits into what it appears the plot will be. But the rest of the book is incredibly intriguing and I can't wait to finish it!
