I like the idea or the questions the plot summary gives well enough but the writing wasn't really gripping. I think I would give it a try just to hopefully be proven wrong and also see how things turn out. Time travel in any shape or form, yes usually in sci-fi but also in other books is usually one of my favorite things to see in a book so I'd still give it a try.
