Worth the read!
Lynda La Plante began writing books where you would start the book, and not move until you had poured through every single page. A few years back she started writing for TV - her stories are good, and her characters good as well. There is nothing grabbing you to read the book any longer and it reads like a TV series - you can hear the dialogue in your head. This is sad to loose a writer to the wholesales side. I miss books like Bellamafia and Entwined - that were stories that need to be told and could be read over and over. So what did I think about She's out - story - OK, Characters - seen them all before in any of this genre's books not only Lynda's books, story weak - not a twist in sight, and very anticlimactic. All in all I would rather re-read one of Lynda la Plante's old books that plod through a new one. This might be my last one - I have been giving her passes for too long.
