Dolly has served her time in prison for a jewelry heist ten years earlier. She’s ready to move on with her life, unfortunately there are others who are not quite so ready to move on and make it known they are not ready to let it go.
As the story progresses, there where spots I became a bit lost because I had not read the prior two books. It definitely would have helped and definitely would have improved my rating.
British crime stories are not usually something I read so it is difficult for me to give it a rating of more than three.
Linda LaPlante is a very good writer and I would love the opportunity to read some of her other works. Unfortunately, this just was not one of my favorites.
