I didn't realize going into this book that it was part of a series so the beginning was slow and a bit confusing for me. I thought it had a good story line and it kept my attention once I got past the the first part. It was action filled and I could not quite figure out the ending. I enjoyed her writing style and the characters were interesting. I would like to go back and read the first books so I could understand this one better. Definitely an author I would not mind picking up in the future. I am not a big crime/mystery fan but I am trying to branch out and find new authors in that genre and winning this book definitely helped me with achieving the goal of reading more in this genre.
