She's Out was an action-packed story, where the action was actually on the wrong side of the law. Dolly, the main character, isn't exactly likable, but is smart and runs the show. She served her time for killing her husband and wants to help women and children that have nowhere to go when released back into society. The other women either met Dolly in prison, or are associated with someone who did.
The book was great, but being written so you could tell events were happening simultaneously, is seemed disjointed to me. Overall, I enjoyed it, and the twist at the end was definitely unexpected.
This was the second book I have read by Lynda La Plante and I will look out for more of her books to read in the future.
