After a lengthy prison sentence, Dolly is on the loose and looking for the diamonds she stashed many years ago. But she is not the only one. This is a really good premise for a story. This book had a lot of great elements: Dolly battling in the present while fighting her past at the same time, the detective who is trying to stop her and out her back behind bars, and cover-to-cover action.
Dolly’s character is written perfectly as a protagonist because sometimes you root for her and sometimes you don’t.
I like the ending, too. Watch out, reader, lots of twists and turns in this one. Recommended for readers of crime books.
