I love a good mystery/thriller, but this story just did not grab me. It felt very dated (which I noticed this book was originally published in 1995,) and the cast of characters just wasn't very interesting. The story is about Dolly Rawlins, who was convicted of murdering her husband & suspected in a diamond heist, and is about to be released from prison. As we learn, everyone & their grandmother knows about the $2million worth of diamonds Dolly has stashed with a fence. Including the brother of one of Dolly's former associates that was killed. And that brother is a cop. But no one has ever been able to connect Dolly to the diamond heist.

I just wasn't much of a fan of this story & won't be entering into the raffle.
