Dolly is the character I am most interested in as I didn't care quite as much about the other characters who were introduced and how they connected to the story. I know this book is part of a series but for the most part I found this excerpt easy to follow as I feel most of the background information was provided. The whole diamond aspect of the plot has me a bit concerned because it feels a bit cheesy to me. Probably won't get around to reading this one as right now nothing is jumping out at me that this is a must read.
