I always enjoy Lynda's writing style. The covers eye catching with the woman's bright painted lips, dark background, her face in a shade, hidden. The novel begins with Dorothy getting released from prison, hoping to find diamonds she smuggled away. There's plenty of interesting characters and subplots too. I enjoyed the description of the old debilitated mansion.
