Okay. I didn't expect to love this book, but I couldn't even get past the first few pages. I know I've said before that I don't like it when authors just dive right in and act like I already know all of the characters, but on the flip side, I hate it when the main character's whole life story is dumped into my lap within the first five pages. There is no buildup, no mystery. Maybe it gets better, but I couldn't stick around long enough to find out.
