She’s Not Sorry feels like a typical psychological thriller novel until about two thirds of the way through the book and then bam! it gets really good with multiple twists. At that point the title of the book makes perfect sense, but it’s not the only twist to the book. The latter one I admittedly had a pretty good idea was coming, but mixed in with Megan, Nat and Caitlin it balanced well keeping the reader off balance in what was coming next with overly complicating the story. The villain or villains may not be who you expect, and the same goes for the victims. I don’t often root for people to commit murder but I definitely did here. Meghan is a believable and sympathetic character and one that many readers will empathize with-a single mom and ICU nurse whose instincts to care for and take care of the people around her put her and her daughter in danger that she could have never anticipated. I liked this book until two thirds of the way through, and then I loved it.
