She’s Not Sorry had me hooked from the Prologue. Meghan Michaels is a single mom and ICU nurse. One of Meghan’s patients arrived in a coma after jumping from a bridge or was she actually pushed?
The book alternates between Meghan’s life inside and out of the hospital as well as giving information on her patient’s life. The whole time you’re wondering who isn’t sorry. This thriller involves many events happening in Chicago both leading up to the patient’s fall from the bridge and Meghan’s life before and after the incident. The plot twists aren’t revealed until the last third of the book but I didn’t see them coming. Part two of the book weaves together all of the details that had been laid out earlier in the book. The ending leaves you wondering whether you ever truly know a person and what kind of secrets they might be holding onto.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good thriller!
