So let me start off by saying how much I loved this book and its twists and turns! If you are one that loves thrillers with heart pounding moments this book is for you. The way Mary, the author, writes is nothing less than compelling and a complete page turner! I am over the moon to be able to have read this book as it being my first reviewed book!
I did have one critique and that was that from the prolog to the actual beginning of the story I was confused on where it was picking up at. Was the prolog a look into the future or was it more of an overview of the book and then the book began? I don’t have that answer. If I was to re-read the book I would just have skipped the prolog altogether to allow for proper literacy flow, that is in my opinion at least. It is a slow build of a book but once it’s built up it’s off to the races with this one!
That being said the overall psychological thrill that Mary gives her audience with this book was outstanding. I have already recommended this book to my best friend, my mom, my bookie friends, and my mom’s book club! It is definitely a must read of the year! Thriller lovers this is a definite add for your TBR list for the year!
