This one started out super slow for me, but about halfway through it picked up speed and kept the reader wanting more. The character's are hard to like, the plot is unique, there are several twists and turns that the reader doesn't see coming and the best part is the ending...it is a surprise for sure. This author writes a good story, but sometimes it takes too long to get to the good parts. She is a hit or miss for sure with many readers.
The second half of the book is where the good part starts, so even though you are tempted to give up, don't - skip ahead or just keep going. It will be worth it in the end! Add this one to your TBR list, but you can wait a bit, it's not a move to the top read. It's a when you get there read for sure. Overall a good solid read, once you get to the good stuff...so just keep going, don't give up and make it a DNF. You will change your mind about how much you liked it.
