This book is a thriller involving main character ICU nurse Meghan Michaels and her daughter Sienna. We were soon introduced to Caitlin, a patient in one of the beds at the hospital that Meghan works in. The moment Caitlin was introduced I was left wanting to know more about this character and what had really happened to her. I wanted to know more of her backstory and was left wanting to know more about her family and what was really going on with her brother Jackson.
While I felt the beginning of this book started out really slow, by the time I read to chapter 15-16 it really picked up. This is when I finally really got into the storyline and couldn't put the book down and finished it. I had a lot of "oh my gosh" and "really really didn't see that coming" moments from this point on. I do wish there was some kind of epilogue or closure to the story as I felt like it was just left hanging. I had several questions left that I want answers to and want to know final outcomes of.
