Mary Kubica's "She's Not Sorry" was totally different then what I expected. To begin, the cover illustration sets up the creepy, thriller vibe. It's perfect for the book. As I began to read, the first half of the book dragged for me. I felt there was too much time spent focusing on ICU nurse Meghan walking to and from work. A rapist is assaulting women in the city (even other hospital workers who walk the same route), yet Meghan continues to walk home alone and leave her teenage daughter home alone. However, once the story took off, there were several unexpected twists that readers will enjoy.

Without mentioning spoilers, I do feel like I enjoyed this book less because I am a nurse myself and that changed my opinion of the story. Overall, I think others will enjoy this thriller and will be easily engrossed in Meghan and Caitlin's story. Enjoy!
