This was a fun, quick thriller! I'm not sure the plot will stick with me, but I very much enjoyed it while I was reading it.

A synopsis is tough because there's a lot going on - Meghan is an ICU nurse taking care of a woman who jumped (or was pushed?) from a bridge and is now in a coma. She's also reconnected with a friend from high school, and is worried about protecting her friend from her abusive husband. At the same time, women in their neighborhood are getting attacked, and she's worried for herself and her teen daughter.

Meghan annoyed me a bit at first, she's so safety-conscious when it comes to the attacker in the neighborhood but seems naive about trusting people she's just met. But this does eventually make sense. There was one twist I predicted early, but another one that was so unexpected, and the type that makes you want to go back and re-read sections.

I'm not quite clear on why the ending happened the way it did, it felt a bit forced, but was exciting. I definitely enjoyed and would recommend this!
