Thank you Bookish First and Mary Kubica for allowing me to read and review this ARC!

This book was a wild ride. I have been getting into thrillers and mysteries lately and this is such a good one. If you like the Silent Patient, you'll like this book for sure. One thing that makes this book unique is the fact that there are multiple mysteries going on. So now you really have to pay attention! Once I picked this book up, it was so hard to put down. It starts off a little bit slow compared to other books in this genre but trust me, it starts to pick up fast. It's got twists and turns galore! Part 2 was just as wild as the first. And everything seems to end neatly and almost perfectly, (did it though?). Throughout the book I was constantly on edge and trying to be a mastermind and figure it out. I was stumped and shocked at times. This was written beautifully and it flowed perfectly, especially for the storyline. I found the main characters anxieties and worries very relatable. It leaves me guessing and hoping for more of her story. There were some points that I didn't really understand like the motivation for Caitlin's actions and how that started and the other twist with the attacker in the city. That side plot seemed a bit rushed and not too important to the storyline as the prologue made it out to be. But overall this book was a fun and twisting read!
