As expected, Mary Kubica has written another hit with her latest thriller, “She’s Not Sorry.” I loved the hospital setting and how there was little/no mention of Covid. I also loved the dual plotlines and finding out how everything tied together; this book was definitely full of unexpected twists and turns!
That being said, “She’s Not Sorry” read as a slow burn for me. It may have been because the chapters consistently felt too long, but fortunately it started to pick up about 2/3 of the way in. By part 2, it was virtually impossible to put the book down!
I most enjoyed the scenes with Caitlin/Nat. There was SO much mystery and intrigue surrounding the characters and the related plot twist managed to catch me completely off guard! Overall this was an entertaining read that kept you guessing, especially as the story progressed! This is one story I won’t soon forget (and thanks to the open-ended conclusion, I think I will forever wonder what really became of Meghan and Ben in the end!)!
