The "sneak peek" of "She's Not Sorry" by Mary Kubica is off to a great start! The main character, Meghan Micheals, is a divorced nurse with a teenage daughter. She cares for her patients in the intensive care unit but keeps herself emotionally detached. That is, until Caitlin Beckett is admitted with a traumatic brain injury. The belief is that she attempted suicide by jumping off a bridge. Strangely enough, Meghan finds herself interested in this patient's life, even though, Catlin is not one of Meghan's patients. During one of her divorce support group meetings, Meghan meets a previous high school friend by the name of Natalie Cohen. Natalie appears to have secrets of her own. It will be interesting to see how her character intermingles in the plot. Well-written and very descriptive, without overdoing it. I'm looking forward to reading the remainder of this interesting novel!
