I love this first look into a new mystery novel, because in a way, we can feel for the main character on a less deep level. We all already have our own life troubles, until we unknowingly get wrapped up in something we wish we were never a part of. It isn't all that bad, until you don't know how you can get out. Once you are part of a case such as hers, there is no leaving. Especially if your life is on the way. She already had enough on her plate, trying to raise a teenage daughter, and now she has to deal with another family's unfortunate event. I truly can't wait to see howthis story unravels!
