Story Telling That Grabs Hold and Doesn't Let Go

I found myself reading the sample pages as fast as I possibly could. There is a lot going on, plenty of scary details. However, this book also (so far as I've read) is believable; bad things do happen in real life, and author Mary Kubica seems to have found the perfect balance in crafting a thriller.
