Not sure why - if this is supposed to represent the bridge that the character jumps 20'-0" off of and into a train track, I don't believe this is accurately depicted. Based on the way the beams are laid out, the bridge travels from front to back, but the foreground of the bridge is clean, so it's either unfinished or you seriously have nowhere to go but the train tracks below.
I know this has little to do with the book's contents, but if a book cover can be as inaccurately depicted and extremely distracting in a bad way, I'm assuming the writing is written in an equally poor fashion.
